Reporting Outside Scholarships
Outside scholarships, also known as private scholarships, are educational awards not provided directly by Baylor. The main sources of these scholarships are churches, organizations, clubs, trusts and foundations. We encourage you to actively pursue these sources of assistance.
You must notify Baylor of any outside scholarship(s) you receive. For Fall/Spring/Summer outside scholarships, please complete the Outside Scholarship Report Form* (Log in using your BearID [firstname_lastname] and password). The form closes at the end of spring each year, but will reopen in June for the following academic year. If you need to notify Baylor of an outside scholarship for spring, while the form is closed, please submit all information about the current spring scholarship here. Please be advised that an outside scholarship may affect your financial aid eligibility. Baylor's policy allows outside scholarships to first reduce work-study or educational loans; however, because of federal or state regulations, the Student Financial Aid office may have to adjust your grants and/or scholarships. Please contact Baylor One Stop if you have any questions or concerns.
To learn more information about the process for reporting outside scholarships (where to send them, etc.) please fill out the Outside Scholarship Report Form* first.
*The Outside Scholarship Report form will open for 2024-2025 academic year reporting in June.
