Transfer Merit-Based Scholarships
For transfer applicants, merit-based scholarships are determined by GPA. Transfer students are considered for the following merit-based scholarships when they apply for admission.
Transfer Merit-Based Scholarships
Admitted transfer students are automatically considered for a merit-based scholarship based on their cumulative transfer GPA. Scholarship amounts can be found here.
Renewal of this merit-based scholarship is contingent upon maintaining a Baylor cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. If your Baylor CGPA is below 3.0 at the end of the academic year, your scholarship will be discontinued. However, if your Baylor CGPA is below 3.0 but at least 2.0 at the end of your first year at Baylor, your merit-based scholarship will continue on a probationary basis for the following year. If your Baylor CGPA is less than 3.0 after the probationary period, your scholarship will be discontinued. When you attain a Baylor CGPA of at least 3.0, you may contact Baylor One Stop to request reinstatement of your scholarship.
If you have not attained a Baylor CGPA of 3.0 but would like to request reinstatement of your scholarship, please submit a Baylor Scholarship and Grant Appeal. Reinstatement of Baylor merit-based scholarships is contingent on available funding.
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
Admitted transfer students who are members in good standing of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society are eligible for the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship. Scholarship amounts can be found here. Renewal of this scholarship is contingent upon maintaining a Baylor cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
