Scholarship Universe
There are New Scholarships available in Scholarship Universe!
Scholarship Universe is an online database that matches incoming and current Baylor students with scholarship opportunities tailored to their talents and specific criteria gathered from their profile. Students can access millions of dollars in possible scholarship opportunities as soon as they set up their profile with their BearID.
To make financial aid opportunities even more accessible, Baylor departmental scholarships are also available through Scholarship Universe. Both incoming and current students can find almost 3,000 scholarships specifically for Baylor students when the application cycle opens in December/January. Check below to see which departments are listed in the database.
New outside scholarships are constantly being added, and all have been rigorously vetted for legitimacy to protect your privacy as a student.
How to Get Started
Step 1 – Log into your account at baylor.scholarshipuniverse.com.
- Use your Duo login with your Bear ID (First_Last1) and password.
Note: For prospective students, you must have been admitted, received your Bear ID, and completed the DUO process in order to log in. - If this is your first time logging in to Scholarship Universe, you may see a page asking you to confirm your contact information. If you see this page, click “I'm Ready” and move to the next step.
Step 2 – Answer questions about yourself to create your personalized profile.
- Some data will be pre-populated based on information Baylor already has.
- Be sure to answer as many questions as you can to get the best scholarship matches. You can return anytime to answer any unanswered questions.
- You can navigate to the questions from the Dashboard by clicking the big green button at the top of the page or clicking the “Questions” tab in the sidebar.
Step 3 – Review your matches and apply for scholarships!
- You may be taken to a third-party site and be asked to create an additional login to complete some outside scholarship applications.
- For any Partial Matches, review and answer the required questions so the system can determine if you are a complete match for the scholarship.
- You can review this page for a complete list of Departmental Scholarships available and their eligibility requirements. You must be enrolled in the appropriate school and logged in to apply. See “Apply for Baylor Scholarships” below.

Apply for Baylor Scholarships
To find and apply for Baylor scholarships, follow these steps:
Submit Applications:
- Go to the “Applications” tab and review your available applications. Complete any applications you see in your school’s section to be considered for the scholarships associated with it. Most schools have just one or two applications that cover all of the available scholarships.
- If you have incomplete Partial Matches when submitting your application, you won’t be considered for those scholarships. If you do become matched after submitting the application, you will need to resubmit the applications you have become matched to.
Though some scholarships are only available for upperclassmen, we encourage all students to review the requirements so you can be prepared for scholarships that have unique requirements. For example, a scholarship may require you to have a certain amount of community service hours; if you know in advance, you can take the necessary steps to qualify for the scholarship by the time you are able to apply.
