CSS Profile Tips
The CSS Profile from College Board is one of the required applications we use to determine a student’s financial aid eligibility. The CSS Profile is different from the FAFSA as it is used to determine institutional financial aid, meaning the scholarships, grants, and other opportunities you could receive from Baylor. All students who are interested in need-based financial aid should fill out the CSS Profile, including international students. The CSS Profile is free for families whose income is $100,000 or less. Submit your Profile today at cssprofile.collegeboard.org.
Before you start filling out the CSS Profile you should take the following steps:
- Log in to your College Board account. If you have signed up for the PSAT, SAT, or any AP Exam, you should use the same account.
- Make sure you have the required documents to complete your application. These documents include your most recently completed tax returns, W-2 forms and other records of current year income, records of untaxed income and benefits, assets, and bank statements.
- Your parent will submit information on the same form as you. If your parents are divorced or separated, your noncustodial Parent will also need to complete the form. Visit the CSS Profile site for more information for parents.
After filling out your financial information, you will need to choose Baylor as a school that will receive your application. Baylor's CSS Profile school code is 6032.
