CSS Profile Noncustodial Parent Waiver Request
Please Note: The CSS Profile is no longer required for students entering Baylor beginning in Fall 2027. Students whose first term is Spring or Summer 2027 must still submit the 2026-2027 CSS Profile, as that financial aid application covers the entire 2026-2027 academic aid year.
Baylor University requires all new undergraduate students to provide both of their biological/adoptive parents’ information on the CSS Profile, regardless of their current marital status, in order to be eligible for need-based institutional aid. In unusual circumstances, we may consider an exception to this requirement. Examples of such circumstances include:
- Physical and/or mental abuse from noncustodial parent
- Abandonment or neglect from noncustodial parent
- Legal order(s) that preclude contact with noncustodial parent
Next Step:
To request that you not be required to provide your noncustodial parent's information on the CSS Profile, please submit a Noncustodial Parent Waiver Request. Once this is received, the committee will review your request and notify you of the decision via email. This waiver does not need to be completed by the FAFSA/CSS Profile November 1 deadline.
