Financial Assistance for Current Undergraduate International Students
International Students are not eligible for Federal financial aid through the FAFSA, but should consider the following options as they look to finance their Baylor education.
Need-Based Aid
We encourage international students to complete the CSS Profile each year to become eligible for the largest amount of financial aid. The CSS Profile unlocks non-federal financial resources, including need-based outside and institutional scholarships. The deadline for the CSS Profile is February 1 for the upcoming academic year. Baylor's CSS Profile code is 6032. For more information on the CSS Profile, visit our Tips webpage.
If you are an eligible non-citizen, we recommend completing the FAFSA annually. If you submit the FAFSA, annual completion of the CSS Profile is not required. However, if there is a large difference in your reported financial situation, we may ask you to complete a new CSS Profile.
Scholarships
Visit Scholarship Universe to find many of Baylor’s departmental scholarships as well as outside scholarships, many of which are available to upperclassmen. Visit the Scholarship Universe webpage to learn more about this resource.
Work-Study
If your status allows you to work in the U.S., you are eligible for on-campus work-study jobs. These positions usually pay competitive wages for up to 20 hours per week. For more information, visit our Student Employment website, explore Work-Study details, or contact One Stop to learn more.
Loans
Private student loans that require a U.S. citizen as a co-signer may be an additional resource. Baylor’s Preferred Lender’s List has an option to find loans specifically for international students.
